Damn man, 168 lbs of tire! What 28's are you running? Even in low?
I’m running 28x10x14 STI Outback Max tires, 8 ply with deep lugs. A few weeks ago I was getting stuck so I stopped and tried to back up, I had it to the floor and the tires were barely turning. Went back in 1st and straining again, I just stopped and winched out.

Thinking perhaps of going with the 27 inch Skinny/Wide Interforce maybe, 5+2 in back and 3+4 in front on the Silver ITP Delta Steel.
Should be more reasonable and require less modding, and still give me the bite and width I'm looking for.

Makes more sense to me too but a man wants what a man wants! Don't know if you were thinking about portals? Would run them if I had to, in deep water all the time but otherwise I think they just break sh**.
I had to have the big tires too but tried to keep the weight down with only having 27 hp. 28" 2.0's run tall and are 28 lbs a pc. aluminum wheels are 12 lbs a pc. Added arched A arms to avoid any rub possibility, opened up the intake and exhaust a bit and put in a Dobeck. Haven't been in a spot yet that it wouldn't turn them.
Gonna need pics or it's all BS. Good luck.

What are these arched A-arms you speak of?

Peter 72, you're fighting weight, height and grip level. I'm temporarily horsin' around with 28" Mud Lites on super light rims (153lbs combined) and can feel all of 'em. Bit of a chore to install but clutch springs help a lot. Thankfully we're gear driven to help the 475cc's. Went down the rabbit hole of tire and wheel weights last night. The Maxxis selections are by far the lightest. The more aggressive they are the weight shoots up.....

Well picked this up yesterday, no BS!
Thinking of 2+5 all the way around and 30x8x12 inter force all the way around.

I think it would. Can only speak from my experience, 26x11's on the front, 5+2's w/1" spacers, rubbed hard when full lock to the left. Those were 26.5 actual. Don't know what you've got coming, Interco's?

28x10x12 and 28x12x12 Itp Mudlite XL and 4x 12x7 2+5 offset ITP Delta Steel. The tires are already on the way but rims haven't shipped yet.

My 28 ML's are on 4-3's and 2-5's. I pull 'em off my Big Bear to run late season snow. The front 10's at 7psi are 26.75" and rub my unmodded frame pretty hard. Clean the frame up and they'll be fine. 4-3's are actually only a half inch wider than the 5-2's. I've left them on this year while I've been building my silly 'nobody dares to follow me' network of trails. Going to use them this weekend on some hardpack and a little pavement before they go back on the Bear to see if may want a set for the P5. The foolishness of 12x12's on 2-5's (59") in the back has become so addicting I want them on the front too. With tweakin I can probably make 'em work up front on 5-2's and be a little over 55". They're probably about the widest tire available. I consider them an old school atv tire but they've taken my SxS abuse with no problem. The crystal ball sees power steering in my future. And I usta be the tall skinny tire guy......

If I were you and you were me what offset would you choose? I've got 4+3 and 5+2 Deltas on hand, and same 10 and 12 x 28 Mudlite XL. Would be much easier to exchange now than to have them mounted and want to change offset again. But then again, at this point, what's another hundred bucks?
