Never seem to do things like everyone else ---- 2in. Receiver included.
Home brew tri- level Receiver.
Bottom -- 1-1/4 multi use Pulling -- Double line on winch
Center --2in. Receiver Raised for Trailer Towing or -- Rear WINCH usage ( 2in.Receiver mounted WINCH pull & carry Ft. or Rear
Top 2in .Receiver multi purpose -- Rear Bumper -- Winch Carry -- 2in. Aluminum Carry All ( fold up style )

Included a picture of 90 degree Ft. 2in.Receiver WINCH mount & carry ( switch Ft bumper & WINCH for Winching ) uses a Kayak port cover on winch to keek it clean & ready.
Front & Rear bumpers , Trailer ball and the WINCH can be moved used & stored as needed.
WINCH powered by 2nd. yellow top Optima battery with Isolator & shutoff switch in the circuit.

Should be ready for anything comes my way with a little LUCK !

I don't care for the 1-1/4" receiver. Does anyone have a good idea for an aftermarket 2" receiver? I saw one on the Moose website but thought I'd bounce it off you guys. I don't get my p500 until next week!

I didn't like mine at first but when you look close they are pretty strong and I use mine often and it does the job just fine.

I saw a 1-1/4 receiver the other day at home depot. It was a crushed tube Design. And looked strong. Or a solid bar would hold up to way more than the 500 would ever take.

Yes the think the mount is to low to the ground and I know people want to use there regular hitch in it. I am thinking of making up a hitch that goes in the receiver and mounts above with a pintle hitch plate and the kind with a 2 inch ball and clasp

It is pretty strong, and I use it often too. I put this on it, and it works for just about everything. About 25 bucks on Amazon.

I was kinda thinking that too. It would be cool to have a winch on a receiver plate with a longer quick disconnect plug that a person could use on both the front or back end

Yes I was wanting it to move trailers around. It’s easier in the front than the back.

Post 19# -- in this discussion the last picture shows 1 method how it has been done &.the interchangeability of accessories
The aluminum bumper is in a 2in. Receiver .
Just remove it put in any 2in.Receiver accessory as needed. WINCH, Ball receiver , Hitch Haul Rack Ect. Bumper is in most of time.

I started with a 1 1/4 to 2 inch adapter, but it decreased the departure angle by sticking out too much. Was a problem crawling over rocks and drop offs in mud holes.

I ordered the 2" Moose hitch.. it should be here tomorrow...my reasoning is the stock hitch being so low and sticking out .. as stated above by Mudder it can be issue especially riding in rocky creek beds.. I'm hoping the higher location works better AND everything I have is already 2"

Love my Moose hitch. The install can be an issue for some (myself included) but love it anyhow. (bolt hole alignment . . . )

Anyone know if the p5 hitch will work with the p52? I almost bought one last night but held off until I can confirm its the same. Wasn't there a change around 2017?
