2 seater gone 4!

Thought it would be fun to show my rear trunk turned in to a golf-cart style seat!

*DISCLAIMER* I do NOT trail ride or anything aggressive with rear passengers. I know the 2 seater is not meant for a huge load on the rear end. Here in Costa Rica, the roads are slow, our properties are large and a quick trip to the river across the street or something is all this seat is really used for. And for still strapping coolers and tool boxes to also 😎*

Seat is all steal tubing and 1/4” plate for the back rests. Seat belts bolt to the frame under the seat, and the seat bolts to the 4 bolt points in the rear trunk of the talon. So it’s fully removable.

Extended the roll cage to add head protection as well as sun and rain cover with a removable canvas top that wraps around and velcros. A lower bar drops down with a U and a base plate for a foot rest. The foot rest also have a lower support bar that bolts on the rear diff cage where the trailer hitch would mount to.

Very cool. Very stable with passengers or extra cargo on the foot rest as well as the back seat.

Air filter still very easily accessible too!!

Next up is going to be side windows for the rear (front to!) but for the rear for safety. The rear mudflaps don’t really do much on the talon with the wheels so far out (I have an R model) so dirt and dust is flung up right in to the reararea very easily and can be dangerous if on a dirt road.

The verdict. Definitely cool for moving people. Cruising around the land when doing yard work and heading in to town on paved roads (like 10 minutes away on a 30mph road.

I’ll take some better photos of the seat mounting and such soon!

Vehicles are expensive af here in Costa Rica. A new, stock, 4 seater talon is $60,000 😭
And I really wanted 4 seats to be able to move 2 extra butts if needed.
The talon is the only buggy really that doesn’t have a half-wall on the trunk/bed. So when I saw it the first thing that came to mind was rear facing seat. Haha

Yeah it’s crazy. It’s the tax here. Anything that’s a luxury (like vehicles) is crazy taxed. Anywhere from 40-60%

not really. Here in Costa Rica it’s hot regardless. And I’m usually always moving with passages.
But even without people on it, if I just let the talon idle after jump starting to let the battery charge (sometimes she sits too long) the seat is not hot at all to the touch.

No it’s just very simple here. And extremely environmentally friendly.
If it doesn’t live, breathe or grow wildly, it’s taxed.

Because your BMW is for you. That sprinter you have the ability of moving 12 people. Lower tax. Less of a one-persons luxury.

Over Tax the people that work for what they earned. Life is much better when the government gets out of the way. Taxing someone that way is total BS.

I’m absolutely loving life here and I’ve left the rat race of the US… I’ll pay the tax

Nope not from NH , Just an American constitutional loving patriot living in the best Country in the world. No matter how bad people think it is here, I always say to go Venezuela,Cuba etc. like the libs always threaten they will do if they don't get there way, then tell me how bad it is here lol.
Cant Defend yourself or your family in Most country's in other words cant own a gun as an example.
Im about the 2nd amendment and law abiding citizens having the god given right to defend themselves against evil and there is in this world. I will defend against tyranny.

and my only wish was that my wife didn’t sell my firearms for what I told her I paid for them if I ever passed away 🤣

I was very pro 2A (and still am) but truly left all that behind when I moved here and it’s been over 2 years… & I’ll never move back to the U.S.

But hey man, to each there own and I’m not here telling anyone what’s a better way of life for them.
