Rain dripping on your knee from the half assed OEM roof rain drip rail?

Madder than a wet hen and want to do something about it for $8?

Why not use the RV J-Channel rain gutter? 16 Ft for $24 enough for 3 machines.

Mount right onto windshield frame, fits the SuperATV glass windshield for Talons perfectly.

Note: Tested this after install by running garden hose full stream on roof, everything ran right down the J-channel as I expected it to. Definitely a win win on this little mod.

Notched out at drip rail and goes up underneath the roof line approx. 1" so roof drip rail overhangs into the J channel to funnel rain down the A pillar and not on your leg! VERY pliable rubber brush should not affect it, if so, replace the strip for $4.

Took the Talon out for the first trail ride. Covered about 50 miles and it was a good ride. I really like the trail manners of the suspension and how the chassis handles overall. Got to train myself for low speed riding, the throttle response is really impressive, I have since added the AJK footrest as suggested by others. It likes cruising closer to 20 mph instead of 10. 😁

I'm going to give this a go, it works exactly opposite of the Throttle Maxx where instead of planting your heel back you plant it forward against the AJK rest. May be the magic bullet I'm looking for.
You’ll like it. For reference this is the “setting” where I mounted mine. It has various bends but I think we are close to the same height. It works perfect for me.

Yeah, For how simple it is, it makes a huge difference.

95% there, got to adjust the fixed panels to align with moving doors and trim roof, but she's on there. Pretty detailed instructions, definitely a lot of thought went into design of this upper doors kit.

As far as just the door panels, yes. 3 bolts each front door and 2 bolts each back door, and they just lift off. The 4 fixed panels would just stay put, taking them on / off would be a major PITA.
Are you planning to leave the fixed panels in for the in-season and remove them for the off-season?

I misread your post initially, yes I will leave the 4 fixed panel in place full time, maybe (but probably not) the rear upper doors with the dogs inside. So I will likely just remove the two front upper doors May through October

So been an interesting 36 hours. There is always perils in being an early adopter of new products.

Despite my best efforts the two fixed panels behind the front doors just didn't quite line up like I thought they should and the front doors closed harder than necessary rubbing the bottom of the aforementioned panels. Also the rear doors didn't quite follow the ROPS contour quite right.

Now all eight panels came pre-assembled with the bulb seals fully attached around the perimeter and rigid door frames. As seen here right out of the boxes:
20241120 185816

It then dawned on me the subtle bends in the poly panels rear doors and the fixed panels between the front and rear doors were exactly opposite to what they should be. Surely they weren't assembled backwards, lo and behold they were. So I spent 4 hours disassembling what seemed like 80 4mm bolts, pulling off all the bulb seals and swapping the seals to the opposing panels and putting it all back together.

Viola! it all fit the machine and each other perfectly and the front door binding ceased allowed them to close as expected.

In defense of the workers at @SuperATV who assembled these early hard cab enclosure kits, the panels are covered with the protective blue film that obscures the bends in the poly that make it all form fitting. I spent 6 hours second guessing myself thinking I was just not doing it correctly. Glad to find out for once, it wasn't me.

Now I explain all this in case some other poor bastards get a kit pre-assembled backwards like mine, 4 panels correctly and 4 panels transverse from what they should be.
Thing is you don't know until you get to the last steps of the instructions to see they don't line up.

Example: This picture is top front rear door where it meets the fixed panels. It juts out approximately 1".

After swapping the panels it now lines up and hugs the ROPS as such:

How much did you have to trim?
This is how much I trimmed above the 4 doors. Used a Milwaukee Rotozip took about 10 minutes being careful.

Here is how it all fits together bolted up after trimmed roof line.

So everything buttoned up from the hard upper doors install as well as the @SuperATV rear bumper and hitch receiver. Only need to install the AJK throttle footrest, and the Bosman bumper with Viper V3 6K winch when they come in. I'ms tired of wrenching boss, but happy with how it turned out. Took it for a short spin and very impressed with the all around visibility out of the enclosure, especially when looking over your shoulder etc.

Going to give Alaska Side-by-Stuff kit a try, get the bottom gaps I haven't covered as well as the brake spring cover he makes. I think it will work with the triggershield material I already have on the back door gaps too.
