I bought a service connector jumper to clear codes with but I wanna make sure it’s pinned correctly so that I don’t short something out, anyone know which two wires on the DLC connector on the machine are the correct two to jumper out?
Thanks

Anything with the 4 pin red connector shorts the same 2 pins.

Everything up until the Live Valve Talons, and some newer street bikes use this same setup. The new connector is a 6 pin with CANBUS, but they still short the same colored wires i believe.

Top pick is the two wires it’ll be shorting, so is it possible I need to re pin the jumper connector? I have not tried it yet in case this is incorrect and by from what I’ve been reading it isn’t right

With the clip holding the connector together facing up, it should short the two left side wires.

Your connector is wired correctly
