P500 2017/2018/2019?

Getting ready to pull the plug on a new P5. Never even owned an ATV but have ridden them from time to time. Anyhow, a local dealer has some 2020's in stock plus 1 2017, 1 2018, and a handful of 2019's. The 2 oldest are heavily discounted. Reading through pages of threads, I don't see any obvious reasons not to look at the older 2. The differences seem subtle but then again I'm not sure what differences I'd be looking for. Any advice?

I've ridden 2 2020 model P500s and they seem to shift better than the 2019 and older. I dont know if maybe the clutch is just adjusted perfectly or they've changed something. But they seem to be alot smoother and quicker.

Could just be two ringers though.

Nothing else has changed between all 3 years.

A new 2017 has been sitting a while; maybe an '18? But since I just bought a new '18 that may be coloring my thinking! Get the best deal on the color you like . . .

If color is a factor, you can always switch, it's just the hood and rear fender.

Any color but camo is probably less than what you'd pay for the newer one in the color you'd like.

Thanks for the info. I'm waiting for the sales guy to confirm they still have one available. The pic shows green but he thinks it's actually red. Good to know I can make it whatever I wan't for a hundred bucks more or less.
