Awesome, love all the detail! Did the sealed box come with the PDM? I like the idea of that chain, but with the advent of the battery powered angle grinder, I think any security chain could be ground through in a minute or less.

Waylan

Morning! The sealed box came from Wal-Mary for about $6. Just wanted to keep any direct water from getting to it. I also have the hole for my wires drilled at the bottom of the box in case I do get water in there...lol!! But I'd have to sink it pretty deep in order for that to happen.

On the chain, I can't remember how long it takes to cut through it with the grinder, but it was over a minutes to cut through one side of it. The thief would have to make 2 cuts to get through it. And they would have to put it in a bind to keep it from walking on them. Check out the video on the 1st Chain website...pretty cool video about the chain.

My hope was to make my SXS not an easy target and a thief wouldn't chance grinding for over 2 minutes (lots of noise) to get mine...just move on as bad as I hate to say it...to an easier target. I'm also thinking about putting a GPS tracker on it. Not sure if anyone has any thoughts on that.

Thanks on the detail comment...my hope was to try and help anyone that is new to upgrading their SXS. I learned so much from this forum! Lots of great ideas and folks on here!!!

I think the top spot is where my light bar will go. Thoughts on the cheaper ones from amazon vs the rigid ones?

I have both. Rigid is awesome but Chinese lite bars are 15% of the price. I've run the Chinese ones on the quads, trucks and tractor for years without a failure. So... as much as its good to buy local, I kitted out my P5 with 5 Chinese leds for less than the price of one Rigid.
That's my $0.02

Rigid for highway vehicles where you need a long light throw. Their reflectors are better. Amazon specials for everything else.

I've called myself studying your wiring diagram, but it almost looks as though the accessory power wire goes to the switch as well? - does the PDM60 have a separate trigger wire that goes to each switch?

Thanks,

Waylan

One clarification...there is a black ground wire coming out of the voltage meter that is not there and I should have scratched it out as well.

So...the PDM is grounded to the leg that all the switches are grounded to and the Ground Trigger Switch is connected to the ground trigger wire coming out of the PDM.

The ground coming out of the Ground Trigger switch is connected to all the grounds as well.

Sorry for the delay on the response.

Got a favour for you or anyone with the 700 and an EMP front bumper. Need the measurement for the front bolts on the bumper, top to bottom. I wanted to add a bolt on D-ring but need the bolt spacing for the holes, and 120 miles from home stuck at work. I wanted to do my research while I have time.
Thanks.

Will you PLEASE go get some dirt on that thing?
You're killing me. Mine is sooooooo dirty. I can't post pictures because, compared to yours, mine is unworthy.

Yeah the price of the super winch is tough to beat. If I were shopping for a winch today I would really give them a hard look.
Without searching the entire site, is there a "consensus" on winches? Sounds like Warn vs. Superwinch.

I would say you're right, it's warn vs. superwinch. As for which is better, I can't say...but for what it's worth, I have a warn
