P1000 2017 Honda Pioneer will have FOX Shocks!

Today we received some important information suggesting that the 2017 Honda Pioneer 1000 will come with the option of Fox Socks as seen in the Honda Pioneer Desert edition shown last year at the 2015 SEMA Show.
The exact specs or fox model are unknown but hopefully Honda will announce it before too long.

Attached are some pictures of the 2016 Pioneer 1000 Desert Edition built for the Honda Ridgeline Baja chase vehicle. It is shown fitted with FOX Racing shocks.

Right now they think the OEM shocks are worth $900.

Any idea where this rumor may have started?
Fox's retail (depending on model) is between $1195 for 4 and $2195 for front or rear. I say this will be added to the deluxe for '17 to distinguish it farther from the base models, or Honda may make a L.E model with these instead. Think of the deluxe Rubicon, special colors painted suspension and fancy wheels.

But this means they should be available from fox. I can't imagine fox being more then the other two companies that build them. I bought a complete set for $1100 for the 700 shouldn't be double for this at least I hope not. Foxes were incredible in that Pioneer...the moment I've been holding out for may possibly come true!

Those prices were just the lowest and highest I could find on Fox's website. I say Honda will probably make Fox (like Warn) hold off on general sales for probably a year. So you'll have to get these from a Honda dealer for awhile, like their winch and plow mounts.
