Hello people ....Since my Rusty still a virgin I'd figure i start a build cause you how it goes, once you start it's hard to stop..
Also this will give me a time line of how long it will take to get it to were I'm happy and when there are no more mods or add on to install.
Any opinion are welcome.
Sooooooo first off is half windshield made from leftover Makrolon type lexan ,made a homemade jig heated with heat gun and bend.
turn out ok till i heated it to much in a few places and made some bubbled ..

Well did a few upgrade and add on since last post......Added KFI winch mount with a cheap $160 winch used about 10 times already no problem so far, very impress.decided to mount the regulator under the hood
Took a pic of the back side of dash so you can see little cutouts for toggle switches, case any wondering...
Anybody else hate the crap, grass, weeds, sticks.branches, from going through the front diff..Had old sign hanging around perfect fit without cutting.
I wasn't sure which side to mount it but i figured the way you see it now it has a reflecting (prismatic material),glows when light shines on it. I also plug up parts of the frame with end caps.....

Looks Great! I am in the process of installing my HF 3500 Badland. I mounted the solenoid exactly where you did as well. Where did you end up installing your circuit breaker? No't much room by rhe battery.

right where the battery is in the rear.I shrink wrap the breaker and made room..I'll take pic tomorrow, it's tight fit but do-able..

I thought I would try something a little different. I almost went away with the circuit breaker altogether and reading all the posts on here, but instead, I actually reversed it and put it up high in a junction box under the hood. Let's see what happens. lol.

This is my location for now...If i would have known or thought of reversing the wires set up i probably would have went that route..
Pretty much tight fit....
I like your way..I seen some body on U-tube do it that way, nice install man...

Thanks for posting. I dont think I would have had the patience on trying to get that cramped in there. I had enough trouble getting the stiffer 6 gauge I got at the electrical store in there.

Shorten the width on storage box so that the clone Rotopax gas tanks don't stick out,They sit nice and flush with roll bar now..
20191019 160534

Also installed the heated steering wheel to keep my hands nice and toasty and all my switches..It does heat the hands ok with the half windshield .I'm sure with full enclosure it would heat better.Waiting on the relays to install the signal lights..
20191123 161548

This how she looks so far with 36'' light bar 2 x 4'' pods ...Next to do list signals lights ..

Nice looking ride and good plan to keep the sides tight with nothing hanging past the rops. Been in ruts where the side of the machine was pushed against a dirt wall, anything past the rops would've been torn off, heavily damaged or stopped me from making it. ;)
