Maybe I will remove the talk of using a bypass in this thread? Seems to be confusing some people. The mod to the buckle is good, is free and works as promised. The bypass was used when the stock buckles were REMOVED from the machine and harnesses were installed in their place. I didn't want to ziptie the stock buckle under the seat. I wanted it removed and thrown in a box for the owner to do whatever he wanted with it.

@JTW , maybe a good point to change title to Seatbelt Speed Limiter Disable, might help future owners with Search/description. One of the best easy mods along with the reverse lever adjustment.

Just picked up my 2017 P500 two nights ago. Did this mod last night and it worked like a charm. Now to find some flexible straps.

I like it. I think I'll do it just because even when they're buckled I often have to unbuckle and buckle again (why?!) to the the speed limiter to shut off.

No more flashing seatbelt light or speed limiter.
