Is anyone using a 2nd battery under the seat? What sizes is everyone using for under the seat or under the hood?
LOL I liked the one you sent me but if I could get something under the seat that might last longer playing music while the machine is off then that would be sweet. I am not inclined enough to know if there is such a thing as a battery that's too big.What….you didnt like the one for under the hood i gave you a link too? 🤨 😂
The Mighty max
Is the same as the One i gave u a link to. I had one of those and it failed quickly. Not to say its a bad battery maybe bad out of the box, just what happend to me thats why I went with the Odessy and its been 6 yrs.
Sundance isn't really my jam..........You could always put a flexible PV panel on the roof and do your music in the sun.

BTW that battery is actually a big battery. Check the demotionsLOL I liked the one you sent me but if I could get something under the seat that might last longer playing music while the machine is off then that would be sweet. So I did some math crunching and if I turn the subwoofer off and listen to just the radio while the machine is off the Walmart battery should last 10 hours and 6 minutes, the odyssey battery should last 2 hours and 48 minutes, and mighty max battery should last 2 hours. This is assuming the radio is pulling 10 amps which in theory I don't think it can because that is the maximum amperage of the fuse. Does this sound correct?BTW that battery is actually a big battery. Check the demotions
Figuratively lol.So I did some math crunching and if I turn the subwoofer off and listen to just the radio while the machine is off the Walmart battery should last 10 hours and 6 minutes, the odyssey battery should last 2 hours and 48 minutes, and mighty max battery should last 2 hours. Do you know by chance which switch you are using? When I Google the blue sea switches all I see are manual battery switches.Figuratively lol.
Ive had my Odyssey on with the stereo blasting, amp, sub and whips for 6hrs a few times the way your describing and was still at 11amps according to my meeter. I also have a blue seas cut off switch that i highly recommend and set it for 10.5 amps to cut the power. A battery starts to head in to permanent damage zone at 10amps.

This battery is a beast and made in the USA. Yuasa makes about all rebranded powersport's batteries.
Expensive, but you get what you pay for.
The isolator works fine for meJust asking in again from another thread I have so I can reach all of my audiences
Do I need a stinger to totally isolate the auxillary battery from the main battery or does the TrueAM do that for me?
Like if I wanted to listen to the tunes and run the aux battery down while the machine is off and still have the main battery to start the machine.
