P500 4 Point Harness Bar or No

Getting ready to install a 4 point harness on the P5. It's all fairly simple but my concern is attaching the rear shoulder straps to the lower cross bar. With a stock seat it looks like it would be uncomfortable. Does use a harness bar to keep the straps up?Or am I over thinking this.

When I installed mine I hooked one to the bar and one to the seat belt bolt. As for uncomfortable, they suck anyway! Way too busy for the interior size of a P5, found myself only using the lap belt most of the time. If I were ever going to do it again, which I won't, I'd get the retractable type. FWIW
