Dumb question (asking forgiveness)...since the 2wd/4wd lever is so easy to move, is it just a switch to engage some electrical actuator versus a mechanical/cable linkage? Seems to be same on Rancher 420. Sometimes change it while rolling after letting up on drive train resistance with no issues. Thanks

And really not a good idea to go from 2 - 4 while rolling .

I’ve shifted mine while slowly rolling. Around 5mph or so. Did that on my 15 and on my 17 never any issues. Never have my foot on the gas while doing it. I wish we could switch on the fly would be nice to do without having to stop.

I could very well be wrong here but if i remember correctly the owners manual says it is safe to engage 4wd while rolling under 15mph... i could be wrong but it seems like i read that...

I wish I was home to look at my manual. Is there a PDF version on here at all?

And make left and right turns after changing gears?? Bet they don’t do that testing on the assembly line. And don’t get the engine wet..LOL. Thanks for feedback.
