P500 520 with 500 accessories

I am picking up a 520 next week. There are Couple left at a dealership in Dallas. In looking at accessories for upgrades (namely tires, skid protection) does anybody know if the 520 is different than the 500 (excluding the obvious) or are the subtle differences that will not allow the 520 to utilize same accessories as the 500? Lots of good information on the 500 but not as much out there yet on the 520. Any 520 owners figured out if the 500 components play well together? Do they utilize the same wheels? Etc. I know I want bigger tire size, probably 26”, seems safe for stock rims on the 500 but I don’t know if the same rim size holds true on the 520. Anybody going down this road with their 520? Thanks!

Oem Roof and W/S will fit. Some aftermarket ones dont mount all the due to the cage gussets Honda added at the top of the cage bend.

Wheels and suspension look to be the same.
For whatever reason put golf cart lookin tires on it. (Probably not relevant to this thread but I need to vent).

Also looks like the front part of the frame is the same.
So winch/plow will fit.
Also skids should fit up.

I'd bet the bank they're the same other than the obvious. Some on here would know better than me but I'm guessing Honda wanted to streamline the production. Engineers were told that they needed to come up with a dump bed (bc that was the deciding factor for some) and figure out how to put the 520 (same engine as the quads) in a P5 chassis. No reason to change anything else.

I will say you will be fine. I put on the roof, skid bars, wheel spacer and dust screen—all compatible with the 500/520.

I’ve been waiting for the bed rails; had them on order to which they were supposed to be here this week...until Honda pushed it back to August 😭

still waiting on a p500. getting real sick of hearing "honda pushed it back". not from you or here, from the dealership.

The rims are the same and 26"ers work just fine on them. I have Mudlite 2s on the stock rims on my 520 with about 30 miles on it with no issues. The factory roof, and factory front bumper work. KFI winch mount for the 500 also works the same. Put an Axon 3500 on mine. EMP underhood storage and 3d Crossroads glovebox also fit the same. Many of the OE part numbers for accessories are the same from the 500 to the 520.
