I own a M2 and it may just be me but I seem to see more owners of 700-D and 700-4 owners than regular M2 owners. I am not sure if it is a matter of preference, size, or the mild mechanical differences. Is there a common theme here? Does the M2 have some kind of stigma attached? Or am I just neurotic about my purchase?

There is no 700-3.

OK. Check my screen name. I will go back and fix that now.
Lol. I don't see to many of the 700-2 on the trails. A few 700-4, and more and more of the 1000-5. I figure you see more of the multi seat rigs because they are unique, not much comparable for what they offer.

I chose the 700-4 because of the seating. It also offers a roof over the bed with the seats down. That could be a down side if you want to load with a bucket or something. Or if you don’t want riders, get the 700-2.
At the end of the day, they’re the same mochine.

These will be my only passengers. They loved the Rubicon but didn't like the tight seating and asked me to buy the M2, now they have asked me to build a ramp because the tail gate is kind of high to jump into and out of.

Thats why I bought a 7oo-4, so my dogs would have a roof over their heads also. Heck I even bought rear doors and back panel so we can all ride in a heated space in the cold months. Otherwise I would have bought a 2 seater

I bought the 700-2 because I was sure I wouldn't need the seats and I thought the bed would probably stay full of sh_t so that the seats would not be accessible.
I wish I had gotten the 700-4 because it usually have at least two grandkids with me.

BTW @Noob we are an elite group. There are fewer 700's out there than any others. I'm damn proud of my 700.

No need for extra cover from weather since I live in Georgia and the winters are comparably mild to NH and Pennsylvania, and my dogs can handle 90% of our winter rides, so cold weather is not an issue. I was just wondering if some folks had some other issue, such as power or mechanical, with the M2

have one daughter, sometimes I will take one of the sport quad guys if we are out fixing trails that's all I ever wanted to bring
I liked the smallish size, mostly on 4 wheeler trails, maintaining those and cutting wood for the house. I saw I vid of a big red same engine/trans pulling a bunch of round bales kinda sealed the deal

I’m a happy Pioneer 500 owner but I like the 700 quite well. Not thinking of changing or anything just trying to learn more about the pioneer lineup. Is there a difference in the standard transmission vs the deluxe transmission I know you get the auto and manual paddle shift but is that it? It’s just a three speed correct??

I really enjoyed my 500 it did everything I asked no problem just wanted more ground clearance and a bed and the extra room in cab is perfect will keep 700 it suits my needs better but I do miss my p500 sometimes their pretty badass for what they are.
