If you've never seen this video, it's well worth the ~10 minutes.

The LARGEST marine evacuation ever to have taken place was mostly voluntary (the vessels and operators).

The Dunkirk evacuation during WW II was 338K allied soldiers over 9 days.

This effort was estimated to be over 500K people ... in just 9 hours.

Hats off to those who helps save countless lives.

It's very sad that, 22 years later, we are as divided as we are today.

It's also very sad that it takes a tragedy of this magnitude to stop people from asking, "Which political party do you support?".

We have fallen a long way in such a short period of time.

I pray for the souls of those lost on 9/11 and for those today and tomorrow ... may we, some day, learn to get along better without needing such adversity.

This is a coustom painted elevator guide rail that was used in the new OneWorld trade center build that was built to replace the twin towers.
There was one IUEC elevator constructor that ran back into one of the towers to help Fire fighters remove trapped passengers. He perished like many others doing his job that day.

I can't forget, I'll remember 9-11 for as long as I will live and where I was at within 20 feet.
