Bought new from Honda Powersports of Covington. Went with the P1k5 after riding a few times with my daughter on my Rubicon and realizing we needed something more secure and comfortable to fit the whole family. She's been dubbed the Short BusView attachment 142813

There was a lady on Facecrook selling handmade canvas panels (ShyBull Fam Custom Canvas Tops is the name of her company I believe) and I ordered the sides + rear panel for $225 shipped. The fit and finish is great. The only downside is the door panels attach with ball-cord bungees so getting in and out is a bit more tedious than a zipper. I only plan to run an enclosure 2-3 times a year, so for the price I'll deal with it. I think she will do custom panels for chopped cages as well.

I 3D printed a RAM ball mount that I installed with a ziptie on the inside of the B pillars, so it's much easier to hook the loop around but didn't get any pictures. Going to try it out in the rain tomorrow.

I like it for the price, especially if you're only need them a few times a year.

The door panels and mid panel worked out great. Kept us clean, dry, and warm. I gave up on trying to bungee/unbungee the doors when getting in/out and just slid out from underneath instead. I've got a few ideas for an easier entry/exit solution.

I kept her expensive car seat from when our Forester was totaled to use in the SXS. It says "DO NOT USE IN CAR" since it looks just like the one we replaced it with.

Guy listed some Rubicon deluxe takeoffs for sale locally. Picked them up for my father in laws Rancher. Guy had a set of takeoffs from a Talon that were taken off at the dealer and never used, told him I'd give him $450 for both sets 👍🏻

Yeah they bolt right up to the Pioneer. Was going to sell them to recoup the cost but I think I might keep them. They'd look pretty good on the old P1k I do believe

Yep, 28x9 fronts and 28x11 rears. They are a little smaller than 28", more like a 27.5 or maybe even a 27 once on the machine. They are pretty light so I'm guessing they are a low ply like the OEM P1k5D Big Horn 2.0's

Rode over to @joeymt33 place to do some Pioneering. Cross braces and angle on the side rails primarily.

He told me he had a lift, but when I got there he just picked it up?!

Finally catching up after a long weekend. Met Joey Wednesday and threw the machine up on the lift, got the cross braces and side rails done then headed over to Stony Lonesome to break them in right 😁 .

Took a few c-clamps and chopping the rail in half to get it to move out enough to weld it to the channel

Lost Low range out of the blue on Friday morning. It's only grinded once or twice going into Low and that was probably a couple years ago. It clicked once or twice that morning and then just gave up the ghost and won't stay in low gear at all now. We thought it might just have stretched a cable or something and tried to readjust it, but it didn't make a difference. Ordered all the parts to fix low gear and swap to the Talon reverse gear while I'm in there.

When we were coming down one of the trails, my RAM mount had a blow out. Tablet flew off and hit me right in the beans when the ball broke! RAM is sending me a new clamp mount to replace it. Didn't realize they had a lifetime warranty 👍
