It's alive! Just went and romped on it going back and forth between high and low. No issues at all and engagement is rock solid now going to low 👍🏻
After I had my low replaced mine felt way more solid .. better than when it was new. Glad everything worked out for you And you were able to do yourself

I like the extra protection 👌
But I would of welded a couple tabs on the frame and bolted it in you will have some choice thoughts about the individual that welded it in when you go to pull the sub trans out again. 😁

Hey @Adam490, I have a feeling my fox shocks are flat. I was reading on page 24 of your short bus build where you fixed yours. Could you explain how or where you fixed your shocks so I can fix mine. Thanks

Think you may have been on somebody else's build page. Page 24 on mine doesn't have anything about shocks. I've never done anything to mine except change the rear springs and add preload.

You are right. It was on your page 22 or 23 of your pages that @GlockMeister had a link to the shock rebuild. Sorry to bother you.

Haha, thought that might be what you were referring to when you said yours felt flat. I never upgraded to the Schrader caps on mine, but I will when they lose enough charge that I can tell the difference. How long have you had yours?

Gotcha. If you can't feel a solid "click" when you switch between the 3 different modes it's usually a tell tale sign that they need a recharge.
I'll double check when I go home today but I think they need nitrogen. It won't do any good if the valves a leaking. I had thought about asking S3 Power Sports here in Shreveport because they build all of these racing machines, and they would know about shocks. We do zinc plating for them.

Little Takeover damage to recover from. Caught a stump or a root through the side of the tunnel near the front of the machine Saturday night headed to Trail 9:

New floor panel is $81 and I'll reinforce that whole area once it comes in. Had a passenger at the time so it could have been a lot worse had it been a log/stick that got through there. Luckily it just cracked the floor when it hit and missed the wire loom.

Took out my 2nd tie-rod in 2097 miles:

Had a blast meeting new faces and riding with old friends!

Do you not have a skid plate? The damage looks to be where it would be protected and not in the firewall area, looks like you can see to the floor through the damage.

That could have been bad Adam. Glad it was no worse than a little plastic.

Absolutely have a skid plate,. It came through where the wire loom runs into the floor section. Looks like the tire may have pushed whatever it was towards the inside and it hung on the flat corner of the tunnel. You can still see some of the wood on the wire loom here:

This is where it came through. Skid isn't going to stop that. You'd need to have something covering the firewall and into the tunnel. I'm going to add some protection to that area for sure when the new floor panel comes in:
