So how much does it cost to get started in a decent crawler? Once again, you guys know how to find ways to spend others money.

I spent $ 350.00 with battery and charger, no tax. But this is an entry level crawler, 1/10 Losi Night Crawler. And am having a blast with it!

Do have some stupid questions, controller and radio the same thing? Will the 3S run longer or just faster than the 2S crawling? Do I need to up grade my STX2 controller for Rock Crawling, seems to eat batteries, batteries lasted six duty cycles on the RC Crawler?

The tires I ordered are 4.72 tall. I wanted to try and at least keep the same tread pattern and wheel. Hopefully I never have a flat! Thank you!

Well, had to get new wheels and tires cuz I was in a hurry to run the truck and didn’t tighten the wheel nuts and sheared the pin slot for the rear hubs, end up getting a set of super swampers and bead lock wheels.
