That is awesome sir. Really makes me want to try to do one now. I don’t have an air brush or any artistic ability really. Do the “rattle” cans (Lexan stuff not Home Depot paint section) give similar results?
Thanks!

You won't be able to get the fades and fine detail with the rattle cans obviously, but you could do something like this body I just did with rattle cans easily. The only issue with the aerosol cans is the lacquer based paint is so thin that it's REALLY easy to get runs and ruin the body. The aerosol also doesn't play well with the liquid mask; if you've got any thin spots it'll ruin your day. I actually prefer the rattle cans on big touring car type bodies with a lot of flat space since I can just use painters tape to mask it.

I would imagine that a 1/24 scale body is lots more difficult to do.
Not really. I actually prefer the smaller bodies. I made quite a bit of beer money in college painting 1/36 scale Micro-T bodies. I think myself and one other guy were the only ones selling them on eBay. I'd get the clear body for $6, throw some flames or drips on it in an hour, and sell it as soon as I listed it for $50. I think the whole RTR truck was $74.99... lol.

I'm going to order a few clear SCX24 bodies to do now that I dug all my junk back out.

I've got a clear body located for the Night Crawler? Thinking maybe Zebra stripes?

When you charge these this way are they balanced? I've got a quick charger that charges through the balance terminal on the battery?
The balance port is on the side of his charger. If you look closely you can see the balance lead going into the right side.

That pic is a good one. You can see the paint falling off my Gatekeeper because I painted it with a can of Rustoleum. It doesn't stick to lexan and when it flexes, huge chips fall off. I thought I might be able to get away with it since it was on the cage and flat. No go.
