Yes I thought it was speed control, It still hangs up some with 100% TH rate though and the steering is very weak in a jam, I 'm going to get the servo you recommended. Been watching all these You Tube vid's, about 95% are want to be analyst or camoed advertisements. I do appreciate all your help. I've got my controller set at TH-N, ST-R, TH Rate-50%. After messing with it the steering rate has to be at 100% to get full power to the servo?
And no it wasn't a flop, crawled right out of it some how! HA! Wood piles are challenging for me. Loving the 2.2's.

Alright, here we go..... start to finish on the Gatekeeper body

Design drawn, body liquid masked, and everything cut:

1612471571957

1612471589478

Silver goes down first since you back it in black. You back most of your metallic colors in black so they "reflect" better. White tones them down a little if you don't want it to stand out as much.

1612471676931

1612471688832

Silver sprayed, now peeling off all the areas that are going to be black

1612471706053

1612471752955

Black sprayed and now onto the red "straps" and seats for the interior

1612471820451

1612471833165

I pulled the overspray film off before I was finished so I could make sure I didn't miss any little pieces of liquid mask. I cut all the buckles, steering wheel, straps, and I made some "straps" for the gloves 😁 . Lots of little pieces of mask to weed out:

1612471975438

Pulled the white area out of the roof for paint

1612472036986

Now onto the fluorescent green and yellow. This is actually a transparent standard green, but when backed with a fluorescent yellow it gives a really nice transition/fade:

1612472119045

You can see where I accidentally bumped the black painted area when peeling the liquid mask off and had to fix it. Just a little dab of black on a q-tip fixes it right up. Always good to double check by holding up to a light before spraying a light color after the darks are laid down so you can catch things like this. Otherwise you end up with a big white splotch in your black:

1612472132523

1612472144348

1612472154999

After the green and flo yellow are laid down, I pull out the other more technical areas that will be white. All of this gets backed in white

1612472257976

1612472272648

After the white is laid down. The roof/hood are done at this point so I pulled the film off:

1612472502542

1612472538604

1612472554663

1612472569991

Only thing left is to do the red drop shadows and the flo orange. Transparent red for the drop shadows backed with fluorescent orange

1612472637409

1612472650587

You can see it starting to take shape now...

1612472678721

Backed with white:

1612472711666

Film pulled off

1612472786603

You can see the red drop shadows here and how well the transparent red blends with the flo orange:

1612472827408

Everything all finished up, just need to get it cut out and on the buggy!

Oh and I guess I need to put the heads on the driver and passenger, lol. s*** I need to find them now or steal the ones off the other interior.
HA! Who needs heads? I'm still looking for a stock clear Night Crawler body w/o bed and drivers? Well scratch the bed, it's part of the main body' still like the Zebra stripe thing and naming it Smitty's Safari Wagon!

Everything was going too well... Lol. I guess this black paint didn't like the clear coat. Sucks but at least it's on an interior piece. Usually you get this if the temps aren't right or you don't shake the can enough, but that wasn't the case here. Sprayed all my panels and the interior of the kids body with no issue. As soon as the clear hit the black it spider webbed like crazy. Now I know to back all the black from this particular paint with another color before clearing it
