Well guys it been a week. I spent a few minutes on my RC lighted whips and committed to a mounting location. The battery tray in front of the spare tires is what I decided to go with

I have the 2 lights setting up now. I put 5 minute epoxy on the bottom half. When it dried I filled the second half with shoe goo so there would be some flexibility. I sure hope this works as I invested (wasted as my wife would say) $50 into the whips for a one time application.

The last plastic piece.
How did you get the hole in your transmission and is the mount broken?
It is the pinion cover. When I put the 31 tooth gear in the screw wasn’t tight and the gear slipped over and chewed up the cover. The trans has screws around the base and it’s a small cover that is damaged. The motor mount is the blue bar. It has a heat sink and another screw under the cover that has a hole in it and screws to the motor.

And she’s back together. Got lucky and had the red steering arms I ordered weeks ago in the mail when I got home from work today.
