Wild is definitely right

Well I got fired back up, here's where I'm at, transmission and motor are in the little tub. bought some cheap wheels and tires, I going to get steelies. The reason the transmission is is the tub is simple, I screwed up and had to chisel off a gear, all because I I used the wrong screw in the wrong place. HA! First builders mistakes! New gear will be here tomorrow and some screws that we're missing. This has been fun, I've learned a-lot. And that's hard on an ole man! HA! I can see a few more builds in the near future! HA!

Links look good Smittysan. You need the rear swaybar on a trailing arm setup or it's garbage. Easy to disconnect it if you want to give it a try, but I don't think you'll leave it off for long.

Go ahead and get some 60wt shock oil next time you go to the hobby shop too. Those rears are way to soft with the 30wt that comes with it.

This battery and box is too wide for the Gate Keeper, went with the smaller battery and box. Think I might get in trouble with the wife after she figures out I have a fifth, I goofed and she saw a picture of the four RC's that I took to the TO, four of them, she gave me one of those looks and said, I didn't know you had this many. Do y'all think five is too many? And this building from the ground up has got into my blood! So you know what that means! HA!

Have to tell one on myself. Got the Gate Keeper together and hadn't set up the electronics, so I did, pulled the trigger and I had a push me, pull me. I know the 6% over drive works! DUGH!

Yep! I thought what the heck, then realized what I did, pure DA. Of course it was on the front, took a little longer than if it would have been the back, I'm learning! Took the Gate Keeper out for a shake down, nothing fell off or quit working, this is going to be a good crawler once I get good tires and wheels on it, pretty spunky for a crawler. I had no intensions of buying a builders, between the Hobby Shop owner and that Dad Gum @Adam490, I went to the Hobby Shop looking to buy a screw and bought a blue million of them! HA! And sad to say, it's just started, this is fun! Winter is coming, next project?

Yes and no, @Adam490 has a real nice one on his, I was just going to get the one he has. I know spit about RC, Adam and a few other A holes drug me into this Crawler thing, I always bought RTR's then? It's fun with the builders, but I know nothing!
