Vent holes in the wheels. They don't think much of being spooled up at 60k rpm with a gallon of water in them

I’ve got a hotel room so I think I’m fine once I’m down there. Waterproof space for the trip is the real concern. Should be fine though.

Yeah the ones that are supposed to be scaled down versions of actual vehicles are definitely bigger bodies than the rock bouncer or crawler style.

They're Jeep bead lock steel wheels, looks a little hokey! Got the weight down low and 1.9 Rip Saws tires-compound R35, they work great on my Night Crawler! Striped out the servo arm last night climbing a 7 inch vertical rock by hitting it fast enough to get on top. I go to the hobby shop this morning, the owner asked me what I tore up now when he saw me bringing in my new SCX10, he just laughed and said I needed to be on AXIAL's R & D team, HA! I traded my EXC 1/17th 1.5"s & Losi 1/10th 1.9's wheels & tires in on my new wheel tire set up, the owner gave me $ 80.00 for them, cost me $ 55.00 for new wheels and tires. I'm happy. This guy is cash only, my kinda guy! And sells a ton of RC trucks and cars.

Mr Sixteen+1 noticed the neighbor had an RC Saturday early evening so he asked if he could get my Rustler out. I said sure. He ran it for like 20-30 minutes and then I said okay let me see it before the battery is dead. I was coming up the street and started drifting towards the curb. I over corrected the drift (had the TSM turned way down) and put it into a slide. Took about 1/4 of the tire free from the rim. No actual damage ... just the glue let loose. lol Mr Sixteen+1 was like well I'm glad you did it and not me. hahaha

Been wondering, if you go to aluminum steering servo arms, will you just tear up something else up, what's next? I've striped out three polymer servo arms now by slamming into 7 inch rock walls or jumping off rock ledges 18 inches tall?
