I'm probably going to get serious about sourcing a new aluminum trailer to haul our Pioneer (and other things from time to time) and I'm curious to hear from club members who own them.

Any recommendations from the peanut gallery from folks here who own them?

Thanks

I have an older aluma atv trailer and love it. Weighs less than 800lbs. New model of same trailer has larger wheels and brakes, wish mine had that but I have had no issues with it.

I have a carry-on 6x12 that I bought from Northern Tool for $2399 maybe 4 months ago, it is an ok trailer as it isn’t perfect but it trailers perfectly behind my pickup. The cheap tires are shot after only 3500 miles of towing and I had one inner fender well go missing one trip, to me these are all small things overall. I’d buy it again and again for its price as steel trailers of the same size are pretty much the same price now.

I’m very happy with mine and how well it pulls, weighs around 770lbs.

Aluma 7x12 here, love it. No mech or elec or tire issues in the 2 years I've had it so far, tows great behind my Jeep Cherokee or RV, and is light enough for one man to move around by hand. My 2 seat Talon fits fine, the ramp is sturdy, and I don't have to climb over wheel fenders when loading up.

I have had this Featherlite for 19 years. It is 10 ft x 6.5 ft. You can see that the 1000 uses all of the trailer. If I were buying today I would get at least a 12 ft or perhaps a 16 ft double axle.

The Featherlite is a good quality product. I have never had any issues with this one. I could probably sell it for more than I paid but replacing it would cost even more.

There are so many brands out there to choose from so quality will vary. Good luck!

Not all aluminum, but something to consider. Floe Cargomax. Mine is 11.5'. They come in 8' and 13.5'
Price was $3800. Edit: comes with bifold gate and tilt. I removed the gate cause it's not needed with the tilt and it's easily removed so I didn't want someone to scrap it for me.

I have the same trailer, it's been great. If I were buying today though I'd get at least 14' and preferably a tilt.

Small trailer prices today make me sick. Almost more than I paid for my aluminum 18+2 car trailer in 2018…

Anyone find a decent priced 12’ with 15” tires on it for less than $2500? I sure can’t…
