Rough day. 12 hr drive followed by golf ball sized hail storm. About 40+ dents in truck mostly on the hood. Plus more on the camper roof including a lovely hole and the inside is wet as well . f*** f*** f***!!!
I used some Peel and Seal on the hole: hopefully it’ll hold until I can get a better fix. FORK FORK FORK!!!
At least I have full coverage insurance.

Little while ago I passed the exit for Big Foot road. In Rapid City for brunch with a friend then off to Wyoming.

I’m gonna make it to Sibley Lake CG In the bighorn national forest of Wyoming tonight. Then tomorrow I’ll head down to Cody Wyoming and up and over the chief Joseph Highway which looks very scenic.

I’m very thankful that I remembered to bring my peel and seal aluminum patch material with me. I covered the hole in the roof of the camper from the hail and it has held up well past three hours on the road this morning and rain. Good stuff

It got down to 33* last night at Sibley lake CG. It was nice and quiet and I slept great.

I drove down to Cody Wyoming then picked up Chief Joesph scenic hwy and got into some spectacular stunning scenery. At one point I was at 10,974’ in elevation. Stopped in a brew pub in Red Lodge Montana and the WiFi sucks. I’ll try to load some pix later. Gonna stay at Cooney State park tonight and drive to Xmas Hills in Idaho tomorrow.
