Another Semi Epic Trip to the Northwest.

I came to Baldy last year with @CumminsPusher and took some great shots here are the first from last year. I tried to remember where I took these so I could take the latest pictures from the other day and match them the best I could but close enough...

A few years back before I even knew what a Honda SXS was I had been backwoods exploring and came upon by accident the trail of the Hiawatha. I drove the opposite direction of what we did this Labor Day weekend.

Then these from this weekend. I get all excited like a little kid when I see these iconic forest bridges of Idaho’s Past.
This is the same woods and wilderness where the great fire of 1910 occurred and also the birthplace of the Pulaski firefighters axe which was invented right after and because of the fire. All of this is just south of Wallace Idaho.

I read up a little on all of this and it was cool to learn about this trail. It was an electric path for trains from 1914-1980 when they pulled it and made a trail. They’d run the diesel or steam trains to here then switch engines to the electric.
Took pic of the big fire plaque you were referring too. Really cool area we need to explore it more!
