I'm fixing to order the front Honda fender flares and was wanting something for the back, I've looked at the mud busters for the rear and just my opinion they look homemade and I'm having a hard time wanting to fork out 150.00 for them, if they looked as good as the honda ones for the front i wouldn't mind paying that much, just wanting to see if any one has made their own and what they used to do so... thanks

I don't really see the need for them but I agree the mud busters look like a complete after thought.

Just wanted to throw this out there. I too like the looks of the Honda front flares. I planned to order some awhile back until my buddy put a set on.....they lasted two rides and both were busted. They are just to rigid to hold up to any contact out on the trails. Cant remember the exact price but if you call mudbusters up tell them your a member of the honda sxs club they gave me a discount, also got a buddle deal for ordering front and rear flares.

If you had a 1000-3 you could possibly modify a set for a truck or another vehicle to the side of the bed. That was my plan to see if I could make something like attached (just saved the first image I ran across) work on the rear then run the honda ones up front.

If you have the 3 seater a piece of HDPE ⅛ thick can be cut with a jigsaw and formed with a propane torch.

The 5 seater is a pain but you can make your own, I did on my 700 before mudbuster copied the idea and started selling them.
