Found it a couple days ago in the shop, had 10 lumps in the length of it's body, thought that was great, so now I leave the door cracked so it can come and go as it pleases, only maintenance is picking up the sheds.

Black and Cotton Mouths, two different snakes. I think Black snakes are called Chicken snakes, cause if you have laying hens, you will find them in the nest boxes, eating eggs. Had to go to medium heavy rod, couldn't hit a Cotton mouth hard enough with an ultra light rod to turn them while wade fishing, true story!
While wading, the Cotton Mouths would start dropping into the river from the brush piles in the bends of the river and swim towards you and you needed to hit them real hard with your pole to turn them.

I'll stick with the three months of winter.
Buddy that I used to wade fish with was scared to death of snakes, well guess you know what would come next while hiking around the deep holes, stick up his ass, sucker could run the tops of the river cane and never touch the ground! HA!LOL F*** that!
