P700 axle cv boot replacement

ok so every one i asked said these just have to be knocked off. outer front cv joint cage and shell?.... so im about a 12 lb sledge piggy backed on 4 lb and i cant budge it. any ideas?

Slide hammer??????? Not so sure but I think the outside boots go on from the inboard side? Someone will chim in and tell you how to do it

It took a couple of hard hits for me to get it. You might have to go the traditional way through the inner joint.

yeah thats what im going to do problem is honda shop here is closed today. so might finish it monday. but gotta finish my portal brackets today

went and got another boot. no problems but i did find a video of a plastic cone that can be used on these universal boots ill be investing in that. later
