P1000 Back from the dead

Picked this 16 Pioneer 1000 up at the auction for little of nothing and started in on the revival process...

Got the old wiring harness ripped out....

Then started in on the fun stuff with my helpers!

- Found some doors
- New tires
- Dual battery set up
- JBL sound bar and 10" JBL powered sub with custom PVC box
- High beam trigger
- Reverse lights with auto back up on custom bar
- Side mirrors
- Insulated seats and mid panel to cut down on the heat.
- Coated the brush guard and frame with bed liner

Got a ton of stuff from the club store. Made the build a piece of cake.

been a year since u posted on here. Anything new mods since ? Any issues with it since then, places you've been? Also curious how many miles it had when u got it, and how many now a yr later?
was the clutch updated When u got it? It is a ‘16

Nice restore. That harness looked pretty ugly. Was there a fire?

Yeah. Nothing terrible. The guys kids spilled some fuel on it and were out messing around during harvest. Small flash fire. I met up with him after I got it home. He had the keys. He wanted to sell the front glass and he would throw in the half doors, the steel wheels, and the hard doors. I drove a couple hours to get there. Got everything but one hard door. His kid ran over it and threw it on the burn pile to cover his tracks. We shot the s*** for a couple hours. We both went to Iowa State and had a ton of mutual friends. He gave me everything for a case of Busch Light.

I think around 4000 miles. Clutch was done. I’ve done a few little things but have been cleaning up the acreage I bought.
