New to the forum and haven’t seen any posts about the backup-alarm plug on the 2020 models. Is this (the dummy plug) what I’m looking at in the pic? I want to add a backup light with the aftermarket harness touted on this site, but want to make sure that 1) the plug didn’t change on 2020 models, and 2) I’m actually looking at the correct plug (which is located on the passenger side of the vehicle, rather than the driver side, as has been reported in earlier / older posts). Thanks guys. I’ve had my 700 for 2 weeks, now. Looking forward to learning a lot from all of you.

Yes, that's the plug.
700 models (2017+) it's on the passenger side, rear wheel well, just inside the frame.
1000 models, its more on the driver's side above the oil filter.

As for a connector, we offer this one in the club store - DIY Backup Light Harness for Honda Pioneer 1000 and Pioneer 700[2017+]
We also have full light kits if you are unable to make your own.
Thanks.

Adding this info because I get asked all the time and this is a good pic to show.

To remove the dummy plug, just lift the tab (RED) with a small pic or screwdriver.
and pull the dummy connector (GREEN) with a pair of needle-nose pliers.

Thanks again. I just ordered the connector with the 9’ lead.

Not to hijack but I have a couple of questions along the same line..... If I also wanted to use the "Work light Trigger for Auto Backup Light Kit" I would still need the "DIY Backup Light Harness" to make it work? Also with the 3-way switch option for the Work light Trigger configured for "key-off power" does it still draw "key-on power" when in Auto mode?

If there is a better place to ask questions about the club store products please let me know.

The trigger kit is only an addon to a light system. If you dont currently have a light you will need this. You can buy a kit or a pigtail to make your own.

The 2 way is only on/auto and 100% relies on key-on power
The 3 way is on/off/auto and relies on AUX power of your choice. Ex. Fuse box, direct to battery, or key-on source.

Let me know of you have any other questions about this item.
Thanks.
