P700 Best oil weight

What would be best GN4 oil weight for 2020 pioneer 700-4 5w/30 or 10w/30? I live in Arkansas.

What does your manual tell you, and have you searched yet for that very topic?
Personally I run GN4 10w30.
Oil is like tires, everyone has a preference and some reason that works for them and the style of riding they enjoy.

FYI i use Rotella T6 5w40 and have used it in my machine since 16’ negative on the issues.

I had Honda 5-30 put in at my first service. It allows my machine to start easier in the cold temperatures we get here in vt. When the snow plow comes off I'll switch back to 10-40 for the summer. I'm only doing this because I need my machine to start every time so that I can plow my steep driveway and get off the ice after a day of fishing.

I’ve got an Italian Husqvarna dirt bike that was extremely fussy on oil. Extensive research concluded the best choice for that machine was 0w40 Mobil 1 European Car Formula. It has a nice additive package and was good for the clutches. Not saying this is good for the Honda, just that it could be considered, especially in very cold weather.

Husqvarna is Swedish and KTM that now owns them is Austrian.
When were they made in Italy.
Mine is Swedish for certain.

This close to summer I would run 10w-40. The first number is the viscosity of the oil when cold. Maybe 5w-30 when it's cold. @Mudwing has a 700 and may have more insight.

I run the Honda GN4. 10w-30 or 40. Whatever it calls for. 😎
