I run the Honda GN4. 10w-30 or 40. Whatever it calls for. 😎This close to summer I would run 10w-40. The first number is the viscosity of the oil when cold. Maybe 5w-30 when it's cold. @Mudwing has a 700 and may have more insight.
Love Vermont. I have a lot of family there, still have a family farm in Westmore and a sugar shack in Derby!I had Honda 5-30 put in at my first service. It allows my machine to start easier in the cold temperatures we get here in vt. When the snow plow comes off I'll switch back to 10-40 for the summer. I'm only doing this because I need my machine to start every time so that I can plow my steep driveway and get off the ice after a day of fishing.

We're collecting sap from our sugar maples for the first time and a neighbor is boiling it down for us in the new sugar shack that he built this winter!Love Vermont. I have a lot of family there, still have a family farm in Westmore and a sugar shack in Derby!
