Sorry to tell you but You cant control dumb asses like that. There on the trail too. All you can do is watch out for the other person. Fyi, your in a UTV vrs a Automobile. The Automobile will win in that situation. My cousin is an accident reconstruction specialist for the Sharif dept in my State and theres alot of road UTV’s in his district. He says UTV vrs Autos, the person in the UTV its 95% fatal no matter what you have. Let that sink in. I still drive the road here but I look out for the next guy and anticipate the worse and respect Autos when In my rig thats all Im saying. That's all well and good until some dumbass pulls out in front of you....

Russ I'm not sure of their name but there's a place down in Miami that makes custom calipers with "parking brake" for the P1K. Might be a good place to ask if they could also make a bigger set up??? I'll try and remember where I saw their info 👍No s***, Sherlock. 🤣 🤣🤣
I'll definitely post pics if I can figure out how to do it.
I did this damage to a wheel somewhere in the Utah desert with a stock 15" wheel (on my Talon). Some guys are putting 14" wheels on them and running even closer to the caliper. Larger rotors will move the calipers out further (duh ), so check your wheel to caliper clearance at full droop before jumping into this.Any way to install larger brake rotors and calipers on the 1000?

We need to figure out how to add a brake booster. But shy of that I would be interested in bigger brakes, Or pedal extension to increase brake pressure LoL. Trying to hold the brakes hard enough when stopped on a hill can be difficult and unnerving. No s***, Sherlock. 🤣 🤣🤣

How would the caliper contact the wheel at full droop? Do you think some wheel or hub flex may have contributed?I did this damage to a wheel somewhere in the Utah desert with a stock 15" wheel (on my Talon). fwiw: putting a larger, 320 mm front rotor on my dual sport was one of the best mods I made, so I hope this idea works for you.
The gouge goes about half way through the aluminum -

You spelt that wrong, It's ASB as in Anti Stopping BrakesABS is the debil, 🥵 learn how to drive the damn thing (whatever the hell it is).
The Talon R has a nub that sticks out on the outer end of the a-arm and is very close to the wheel. Full travel gets it closer (maybe full compression, don’t remember the entire conversation). How would the caliper contact the wheel at full droop? I have the stock brakes, but my wife says I have big Kahknoonsas. HA!ABS is the debil, 🥵 learn how to drive the damn thing (whatever the hell it is).
Brakes? I thought that's what a down shift was for.I have the stock brakes, but my wife says I have big Kahknoonsas. HA!
What's a down shift? I just bumble along up or down hill?Brakes? I thought that's what a down shift was for.
Take that thing out of Auto. What's a down shift? I just bumble along up or down hill?
I usually run in auto and don't use the brakes, it's called bumbling along at a high rate of speed!Take that thing out of Auto.

Can attest to this probably being the difference as well.Prob a different metallic or ceramic material or supplier causing the change in part number for Identification purposes
Try some after market braided stainless/teflon brake lines. It'll give more stopping power, and will firm up the brake pedal feel.We need to figure out how to add a brake booster.
