Getting antsy to get this this thing on the trails.

Remaining: Honda tray, Packout mounts, rear cubes, skid plate, nerf bars, tires/wheels. A few odds and ends . . .

Trying to decide between a true(ish) 28x10x14 or a short 30x10x14 (both sizes are available as a 12" ). I will be at 60 or 61" wide. My heart wants the "30" (29+), but my head says 28s. If I end up not liking this tire, or the 28" size, I can put them on Critter with the SATV forward a-arms. So . . . ??

IMO it's the weight more than the diameter (to a point) that overloads the machine. The P5 is geared low enough to pull the 30's as long as the tire/wheel combo isn't too heavy.

I figured the 28s would be more stable, but a short 30 may not make a significant difference.
Possibly 3/4" of extra height? (29.25-27.75)/2=0.75 inch. These are educated guesstimates.

Been going back and forth on this.

With your width on the long travel unit, I wouldn’t worry much about the stability.

I went from 28s to 30s and did notice a little power difference. Might go back to 28s because of this but Ive only had them since last fall and haven’t had them for a true test yet. It does roll over logs and rocks easier though.

The P5 can run RRB on stock 24’s.

In case you’re wondering…I plan on running the P1k5 on stock tires and rims as well. At least until they’re wore out or stop holding air.

Maybe I’m just cheap though.

Also, this picture kinda shows the full Mudbusters rear kit for a P500. Two mud flaps and two 3" wide black plastic inserts between the fenders and main plastic center piece.

Notice if you want to run the mud flaps and the Honda rear bumper, without the fender extensions, you'll have to trim the mud flaps.

Nah, last time I went boating I lost all my firearms in a tragic accident. I decided boating is no longer for me. It seems it’s a relatively common occurrence. I don’t know why anyone risks it anymore.

I think the usage of bigger tires is more for clearance sakes. I think everything gets to the point of diminishing returns at some point

If your on the 14” Blackwater program I’d look at the 30’s. The Appalachian fella’s video back in the day surprised me. I think the 14s were a little lighter than the 12s. A slightly smoother ride especially at a lower ground clearance sacrificing pressure…….
