on side not though i would just caliper my disc and see after a couple changes if there is any difference. im going to try them but i dont use my brakes that much. and in racing they are made to take the heat of constant repetitive braking. so i think unless your racing it( 700 racing) . you should be fine cause everything has time to cool.

oh crap i cant remember it was like 4 yrs ago. i actually think it was off name brand. but the rear brake clattered like hell after about 200 miles. and the fronts were done at 100 squealing like a stuck pig. actually taking a look at these ones im running now tomorrow i think they are the copper ceramics. but id have to ask my dad i got him to order me a set when he ordered his for his big red. big red pads do seem to last a little longer on front.

My OEM sintered pads on the front lasted right until the 600 mile mark. The second set(Volar organic $17.00 on D2MOTO)lasted until 1250 miles. I just changed to the Volar sintered( $20 or so) from D2MOTO. I’m hoping to get another 600 something on these pads. I ride mud and woods. I keep a spare set on hand for a quick change. My rear pads are still original and at about half life. I’m not concerned about rotor wear as they still look good. BTW: The fronts do wear evenly so they’re not hanging up so that’s good.;)

yep that black pad is whats on mine right now. going to toss another 70 miles on them tomorrow and itll be time to change. but also it was wearing in the new disc. so could be why they wore so quick considering utv solutions disc is very homemade design lol.

I don’t know much about the rotors as mine are still original. I’m ok changing pads every 600 miles on mine though. ;)

iv never gotten 600 miles on front brakes lol. i wish i did. though. i have a feeling its going to take 2 sets of pads to get these rotors broke in right though.

I also would like to mention that the stopping seems better with the sintered pads vs the organic. We’ll see how long the sintered last and how they do on the rotors. ;)

I swapped back out to semi metallics... I trust the guy that told me not to use them. The sintered stop way better than the kevlar/semi metallics. But... we just got the roads redone at camp, so my pads should last from now on. We will see. On a positive note, I have gotten super fast at brake jobs. Entire pad replacement in 15 minutes or so...

Are you replacing the stainless clips that hold the pads every time? I keep forgetting to grab them so I have to clean them up shiny. That takes me an extra twenty minutes. If they’re not clean your pads could hang up. ;)

I went with niche semi metallics and they are lasting longer than any others so far... I will look at mileage this weekend. But they squeal a lot... annoying.
