P500 Break-in for new P5?

When I buy a new car or pickup, I change the oil immediately to get all of the contaminants out from new engine assembly process which puts all sorts of junk in the oil. Then I run conventional oil for the first 3k-5k miles to allow the motor to break in, then replace that with Mobil 1.

I assume the same sort of process should be fine for the Pioneer?

Any other tips for a proper break-in on these machines?

Honda has an OUTSTANDING reputation in terms of reliability, etc., and I would follow the recommended scheduled timeline stated in the owners manual.
