No problem, I doubt it'll be as clean as @Alan 's install was.
Looks like everyone is covering their air intake though...
wouldn't you want to cut around that, let it breathe?

Yeah, I would think you'd be right. Maybe Alan will chime in on that. I'm wondering what kind of additional effort this mod adds to getting to the oil filter and changing it, if any? Are you planing on doing this soon?

I just put mine under the seat in one piece and put Velcro around the edges and it takes just a few seconds to remove.

Just ordered some material off amazon. Also ordered a seatbelt for the middle for when my kids ride with me. Gonna see if I can get it to work...

Yeah, I'll do it in the next couple of weeks. Looks like a pretty easy install.
I think I'll velcro it to the underside of my plywood deck.
Ordered the material last night and it already shipped.

the results....it's a 3 in 1
no brainer.....cuts down on
..Heat / Noise / Dust
for under a Nickel.....
Nickel =$50

Yeah I did...got stuffed behind
seat....seems to Hum...more
than thump...gonna go with
a powered one....sound bar
only powers a sub with a
pre/amp of 2amps...
sounds way better on my
TV surround....

it's a 2 amp/preamp....
"Can't pound a stake

I'll cut around it so it gets air from the front too. Fresh air means more power and better performance.
I'll try to cut snug to cut down on noise. Kinda have to look at it specifically, haven't yet.
The P5 doesn't look like the avatar I had anymore...and I love that movie, especially the Doc!

Yeah, preamp means it's just enough power to send a signal, probably just RCA's,
usually to an amp of some sort.
My wife rolled her eyes when I told her what I was doing too...
she likes it now though, I've looked over and seen her rockin out.

I hear ya...been busy went on
road trip...to vist my kids...
wife's waiting to Land a
big job...been over a 100
& up to 107...the last 8
days....25mph winds
like a Oven...

I sprayed mine with Kiwi Camp Dry and it repels the water very nicely and I even can wash it if it get dusty.
