P1000 Cheap Heater Solution

I have struggled with the purchase of a heater for some time. Given the bad reviews of the Honda Factories and the quality of some of the others, I decided to go another route. This install was cheap and easy, plus it looks factory.

It's simple and super easy to install. I would recommend when cutting into the lines to pinch them off on both sides and also fill the heater with antifreeze before attaching the hoses at the y. This will help with bleeding issues. I bought into the Max stat idea and so far the entire setup has worked very well.
Pros---Blows out a lot of hot air -13500btu. 2-speed switch
Looks factory and seems to be made tough
Super easy to install
Cons---The middle part of the floorboard now has a heater
it does have the option to run defrost hoses I just didn't

Is the heat pretty noticeable when it is cold out? You feel the heat pretty good blowing around the cockpit?

I have the same in my tractor. They definitely have a place!

I installed an after market heater in the void under the drivers seat.

one tip that I will add is that if you block the factory radiator about 3/4 way, you’ll have all the heat you could want out of the heater.

Hello. What a way to go. There is a gentleman here selling an unused one like yours. I live in northern Alberta (this morning it was -40F out). Does your windshield fog/ice up or did you eventually get a defrost kit? I own a 2019 pioneer 700 deluxe. It has a fabric cab and hard top. I will obviously have to fill in the gaps (pool noodles seem to work). I think I would just plumb into the oil cooler line like the Inferno heaters.

I bought into the Max stat idea and so far the entire setup has worked very well.

Contact Scott @ Coupers Products. They are replacing the MaxStat option with an electric water pump option. It circulates water went the stat is closed and better when at idle.
