P700 code 29 low idle and hard start

Hey guys have a buddy with a 2014 p700 and getting a code 29. Have to start in neutral and give a little throttle to get it to start up. other than that it runs great. Put a new cam in two years ago and hasn't had much run time on it since s deff don't believe its contributing. I know the p1000 had harness issue with there idle air control. any help would be appreciated.

Code 29 means: trade it in for a Yamaha.

Sounds like the IACV is stuck on a low idle position.

The Rincons used to do the opposite and stick in a high idle position.

Try removing it and turning the key on with it plugged in. If you hold the barrel it's should move on the pintle a bit before it stops. If it doesn't move or feels locked to the pintle it needs replaced.
