Are those the same shocks that come off the 800?

I'm gonna buy them if they will go on my machine.

Yes I think the 800 is the same. From what I have been told on here, they will fit the pioneer 700 with very minor modification to the rear lower eyelet

You will need to change out both rear shocks upper and lower bushings and sleeves.

I have been talking with Sundayrider, I think I'm going to replace all the bushings with new polyurethane bushings. I will see when I receive the shocks.

@Texguy02, the Commander shocks give a far superior ride quality when used on the 700-4. Also help with bottoming out the supention with the factory shocks that occur when hitting dips when running down the trail.

I have fox and have used the stock one when I got it. I road a unit with just the fronts changed. I was shocked how good they were. no pun intended. I beleave the commander shock are as good as the fox shocks on the 700. if I didn't have fox already I would be searching very hard for some commander shocks.

The bushings look a little worn, going to try and replace all the bushings before installing them.
I'll take some pictures along the way.

That's awesome @Tramguage1! Good luck with the install. Replacing bushings is a good idea. I think you'll really enjoy the ride!!

Cool. I bought the ones that you opened this thread with. They are scheduled for delivery by the end of day today.

I'm out of town so hopefully this weekend I can start the conversion.

Cool! I haven't had time to mess with them yet. I need to order all new bushings for front and back, waiting on the tubing for rears and then need to order tubing for front.
1 of these has a oily residue on it, not sure if it's leaking or from somewhere else. Hopefully it's not a bad shock! If so guess I'll order just the shocks through eBay for $150 bucks and swap them out.

OK guys I couldn't take it any longer!!!!!!
I installed the front shocks. Made sure I had the 4 best bushing installed in the front shocks. It's SUPER EASY to do. Only need 2 14 mm wrenchs, a small lineup punch , small hammer and a jack to lift the front end. (With emergency brake set) sorry P1k guys!

I've already done this with mods, but would love to see a write up. All credit has to go to @green02crew

That is true. I will just add my step by step pictures and I agree @green02crew should get all the credit for this fantastic mod.

Just wondering if anybody has been able to do a side by side ride comparison with the fox's to the commanders? My friend has the fox's and they are a night and day difference.
