No one close to me in Texas that has the Fox setup. But I'm not sure for the price you can beat the Commander shock setup. I will have roughly $300 or less total in the mod.

Here is a side by side comparison with spifyd riding my 700-4 for a couple of hours with front Commander shocks installed. I enjoyed riding his turbo charged 700 with Fox Shocks and LED lights! That was a fun night ride!

I have fox and have used the stock one when I got it. I road a unit with just the fronts changed. I was shocked how good they were. no pun intended. I beleave the commander shock are as good as the fox shocks on the 700. if I didn't have fox already I would be searching very hard for some commander shocks.

That is true. I will just add my step by step pictures and I agree @green02crew should get all the credit for this fantastic mod.

I agree, green02crew was instrumental in me installing Commander shocks and a couple of others who have posted on this forum.
THANKS GUYS!

I should have all my parts to make this conversion. What details would you like documented?
I plan to log the following:
Ride before and after, including lean, smoothness across rough terrain...
Height before and after

What else would be helpful?

Just wondering if anybody has been able to do a side by side ride comparison with the fox's to the commanders? My friend has the fox's and they are a night and day difference.

@spifyd d can give you a little info on that. He has fox shocks on his 700 and he drove the 700 @Vato has.

OK guys I couldn't take it any longer!!!!!!
I installed the front shocks. Made sure I had the 4 best bushing installed in the front shocks. It's SUPER EASY to do. Only need 2 14 mm wrenchs, a small lineup punch , small hammer and a jack to lift the front end. (With emergency brake set) sorry P1k guys!

VERY VERY smooth. Noticed the difference with about 50 foot of driving.

Just ordered my bushings from PolyBushings.com.
Talked to Johnny, he was a nice guy to deal with, Plus he's here in the states. Also said he can make special sizes if enough are ordered

I think we need a thread for a commander shocks availability watch or something.

My shocks are at the house waiting for the steel sleeves and bushings.

Funny thing is I talked to a buddy and all the Can-Am guys are taking these shocks off because they don't like them.

You will notice the difference after installing the rears. I have about 13.5" of rear clearance after installing Commander Shocks.

I don't think they work as well for the commander application as they do for the pioneer
