WaterFlush with?
Nothing but waterI've heard of guys using a little Clorox dish soap when flushing older coolant systems but I doubt it's necessary for your P5. Water ought to be fine.
I know when it gets oldI'm curious why you would change your coolant? Thanks
With age, dirt and contaminants build up in the coolant, and age can cause anti-freeze coolant to become acidic, which diminishes the coolants effectiveness.I'm curious why you would change your coolant? Thanks
Does Honda have a scheduled timeframe for Changing coolant? I guess I have never really thought about it beyond simply topping it off. With age, dirt and contaminants build up in the coolant, and age can cause anti-freeze coolant to become acidic, which diminishes the coolants effectiveness.
Yes. Honda Pioneer 700 Maintenance Schedule Couldn't readily find this for the 500, but I would think it would be the same.Does Honda have a scheduled timeframe for Changing coolant? I guess I have never really thought about it beyond simply topping it off.
Five years is what I go on an automobile. Using that time table, none of us are ready for that service.Does Honda have a scheduled timeframe for Changing coolant? I guess I have never really thought about it beyond simply topping it off.
True, but then we all go 3-10,000 miles (depending on the vehicle) on our oil changes too, yet the P5 is just 600 miles.Five years is what I go on an automobile. Using that time table, none of us are ready for that service.
The 500 link was part of the other link and stated every two years! I think it may be time for me to review my maintenance schedule. LolYes. Honda Pioneer 700 Maintenance Schedule Couldn't readily find this for the 500, but I would think it would be the same.
