P1000 Cost For Insurance

We can ride on our city streets but the city laws require insurance to do so. My insurance company quoted me $800 a year for a 2021 P1k5.

Injury/liability $100/300K
Property Damage/liability $100K
Medical $5K
Physical Damage Package $500 deductible - Stolen, wrecked etc.

Lowering coverages to the minimum and upping the deductible saves $20 a year.

At $800 a year it's more than the insurance for our 2019 Honda CR- V with the higher coverages.

Call progressive, got mine for around $250 per year but for off road use only on my ‘21 P1k 5

They probably offer an on road policy, they were the cheapest I found.

my P1k5, trailers, camper are all on my home owners at about 75% less with same or better coverages.

my P1k5 is street legal and licensed in SD. I have to carry insurance for it too.

I paid $330 this time around with progressive for full coverage with medical. $800 seems really high to me

Allstate $212 a year with $5k of added accessories on the policy. No idea what the deductible is but in the event of catastrophe what is $500?

Ditto on Progressive. About 250 a year for full coverage 500 deductible.

I went with progressive bumped everything up and selected new model replacement at msrp plus added $8k for accessories, deductible is $500, cost was exactly $400 for the year. With the std 100/30/100 and no accessories and a prorated replacement cost it was $330 a year, was worth the extra $70.

Ive been a State Farm member for 20years, they quoted my $986 a year, I just laughed and said sorry I’ll have to get this one elsewhere.

Our homeowners policy nobody comes close in price. Family and friends didn't believe me until I showed them a statement. Go figure.

Yeah that was the impression I got, my agent was shocked as well but he doesn’t have too many clients with them, but go to progressive, you can get a quote online.

For my farm acreage insurance with a 500 deductible it’s like 120 bucks a year. It was similar when I lived in town. All others were like 500 plus a year.

I have allied/nationwide. Because of this thread I was looking at my policy and noticed I had ACV vs replacement. Updated this morning to replacement cost and it was an extra $2/mo. Was paying $274/yr, replacement cost added $24/yr. Well worth the extra $2/mo

Progressive is great! Had a total loss claim on a 2021 P1k5 and it was fast and easy. Well worth the $400/year!

A GPS Tracking system is cheap insurance too. Check out LKGPS2 only $60/year for a SIM card
