Yep, that's what I was thinking. I'm looking for a 06 front drive shaft, transfer to axel.
Don’t cheap out on that one if you get that truck. A pos shaft isn’t worth the savings. I’d suggest finding factory one or having it made and get really good u joints. One of those things thats worth the cost the first time.
Btw I know you hate diesel and you currently own the best gasser dependability wise but once you get over the smell I think you’d really enjoy it. Get a tuner, exhaust and send it😉

Truck is mine. Now it's time to make it DOT approved. Figure $ 3000.00 will have it up and standing on it's rear legs, paid $ 9,000.00 for it?

Well yesterday was one of them days. I did get in all the fuel lines and tank along with a couple things. But the weekend didn’t treat me so well, everything went south including the weather. Gave up early after moving the box back into position and it came down hard and smashed the s*** out of my hand, barely got it back out by myself.
Tonight will get back on it and see what else I can destroy lol. Good days and bad ones, now hoping for a few good ones😊

Better stop screwing around, days are getting shorter, and temps are getting colder

No you jinxed me, by sending that weather forecast, the weather man was actually right once, now I’m stuck at work, wheeling the 5500 View attachment 230015
Bhahahaha. Hey at least you’re out wheeling something, they definitely have the right man for the job with you!

Well with all the rear wiring, brake lines, fuel lines, fuel tank from my ‘93 donor truck in as well as transmission installed I was able to drop the cab and box back down.
Went home today at lunch and clearanced the cab off of the transmission enough. The new 5-speed is massive compared to the original. Adjusted front spot weld flange on the cab and gave it a 1/2” body lift to clear. Also cut out section of flooring from the donor, turned it around backwards and will weld in tonight. The shift gate on new trans sits further back. Still need to build brackets for transfer case shifter but it’ll mount in original hole. Nice being out from under the truck finally.
