Oh I’m aware there are better but I’ve had many of them over 10 years, they’ve built many rigs including camper van and all the Sxs’s. This wasn’t near the workout they got building the bus. They work fine for a hillbilly like me
Just busting your balls. I've got a ton of Rigid stuff and have never had an issue. Their battery warranty is incredible.

The armrests and lower carpet are new, the rest I repaired and used SEM vinyl trim once got the vinyl texture correct with texture coat. Doing interior is new to me but already learned a few tricks, really not much different then bodywork/paint.
Yes, probably a dozen side jobs went directly into this build. It was important to me to have a paid off truck when done and no payments. I’m not well off so extra work was critical. Would've definitely been a quicker job had I had money falling out of my ass lol.
Well, nice work CP....😎👍

You’re ambitious, a good quality to have...😉

I need bodywork on my 1962 Falcon and don’t want to take it anywhere that I don’t have corroborating recommendations. Not sure what city I’ll end up taking it to....

I like that rig, wouldn’t mind doing that one myself. But it’s beer:30 in the woods for the next 7 months.
Ya really be careful who you bring it to. It ALWAYS seems to cost double what original estimate is and goes way over on time. They normally grab cash from you several times through the build, that tends to make people leave it.

I’m not in a hurry. If you’re interested I’d bring it to you next year or whenever. Rust from its years spent in Idaho, Colorado and Illinois has eaten above both rear wheel wells so I’m guessing those panels need to be cut out and replaced. I see them on line for about $400 for both. If you zoom on this you can see the rust, there’s other things much more minor but a complete repaint and clear coat and window seals it needs....

Didn’t sacrifice on the camper charge. Picked up a good smart battery isolator for the pickup. After looking this thing over I might just replace the iso on the Pioneer with one of these.

Did have 3hr “issue” last night. Was running the trailer brake wire into the cab and charge wire for trailer/camper was along side at firewall started sparking as it hit stuff. Surprised because it is direct to the tow plug but not connected to truck battery. Dug into my wiring figuring I’d f***ed up bad
well there’s a plug that came with camper with two wires, simple plug, already plugged in, I’d assumed pos/neg to camper lights. But one was hot and the other hot when lights on. Took minute to realize the constant hot was indeed camper batts. So wtf I thought?!? Both hot wires. After a few more minutes it dawned on me camper was grounded at camper hooks, so when strapped down it grounds through them. f***ing brilliant. So problem wasn’t problem, actually a solution, I don’t need to add wire for charge to plug it in.

Nice, how many monies......🤔
Talked them down to 80$ locally. Haven’t checked online yet. It’s very robust though, about same footprint as the little plastic one most of us use but little taller, wires in identically but has aux indicator wire to wire in to a light on dash to let you know it’s on as well as a wire for switch to manually connect which would be nice in Sxs for winch usage. Would allow up to an additional 200amps from start battery

I like that. What was the price before negotiations? Looks like a bit less on line but at least you got it right away...👍

Ya he said 109 before I talked um down. The one I have is 200amp, you showed 85 amp but perfectly honest that is plenty! Had they had smaller I would’ve bought it

Damn long night. Just got done wiring in the battery isolator. Camper is charging great. Be nice to run the fridge off of 12v while driving.
Used 8 guage wire all the way, including into the camper. Trucks that have factory charge at the 7-way run 16-14 guage so this’ll charge much faster. Also if main battery is low and camper batt good I’ll be able to jump it with the manual connect.
Little clean up to do but needed done.

Also got the brake controller hooked up. Been running without on just the truck brakes, they do good with the hydroboost setup installed but more the merrier.
Spent time online and nearly every rating and review pegged this model as best so that’s what it got.

Also my new trailer showed up today. Nice seeing it in the yard. Still waiting on my friend to get his new one but it’s back ordered, but it becomes permanently mine soon.
Wiring is screwed up and needs work down the road. Unlike last weekend with our oI’d 16ft trailer I borrowed this is a 20, much nicer loading both Sxs’s!! Heavy duty enough for anything I want. It’s been carrying vehicles for for my wrecker buddy constantly for years, held up to him so should be good.

Got this little gem today. Had it calibrated for my gears and tire choices so speedo will be accurate. Truck is down to a lot of the little things now. Want everything right

f***ed up a perfectly good hood today. Not to everyone’s liking but I have always wanted the big Ram. One of my favorite adds as of late. Redneck official. Was waiting till it was finished but couldn’t hold out any longer.
