Im currently running a 26x14 STI Mud trax tire and they are amazing for tearing up the ground and getting me through the mud holes. However, the lugs are so big and wide that they are not as good as i need them to be when I play on the side of a mountain. I go to a lot of off road competitions (to watch friends tear up their $30k rigs) and sometimes my Honda will act like a Polaris and climb a hill or two. I’m looking for a good recommendation for a 27” tire that isn’t too heavy, isn’t too soft, does well on the farm and on sharp rocks. I don’t want to spend over $200 per tire and yes I understand a 700-4 isn’t a rock crawler. What’s yalls recommendations?

I'm on my 3rd set of tires and so far I'm very happy with the Maxxis Carnivores. They do well all the way aroundfor me. Mud, rocks, wet creek rocks, road, dirt and don't tear the yard up too bad. They are a little on the soft side.

What size/sizes did you go with? That looks like a really wide front tire? How is the steering and power loss?

Sounds like you better do what I did.
One set for mud and one for hard pack and road.
I like the carnivores for rocky hard and I really love The bighorn 2.0s. For not ripping the yard and fields up.
I do not mudd bog

Sorry I didn't respond sooner. I just now seen this response. The camera makes it look allot wider & bigger than what it really is. They are 28x10x14 all the way around. Yes I lost some power but they aren't as bad as the 28.5 Dominators I took off. Steering isn't an issue now since I have added powersteering.

I like my Quadboss tires. QBT846. They have 27's but these are 28's on my 1000
