Just made it back home to LA. after 3 weeks of hunting in MO Ozarks. Very thankful to have had my best year already, with a 10pt with Xbow and 11pt with .270. 10pt tech was 9pt due to G2 being broke off and 11pt was main frame 10pt, but had a split browtine.

Bow season is over.. Today starts rifle season.. This past Saturday I saw a four-point closing in on me, he turned broadside at 75 yards, I put my 50 yard mark on his spine pulled the trigger and hit him right in the diaphragm.. Bolt went completely through, check out the fleshings.. He bucked like a horse twice then dropped.. Good luck gents with the bucks during rifle.. 🦌🔫🇺🇸🇺🇸

Hogs turn plenty ground up around or river will flood and wash everything away.

What area do you hunt? I hunt in south central MS and we have our fair share of hogs as well. I hate them but they give me the opportunity to hunt in the off-season. I figure if they’re here, might as well have some fun with them

I hunt close to Gurdon.

Had a good work weekend at camp. Was fairly easy one. All roads were open in bottoms. Moved few limbs, didn't have to cut any trees that had fell in road. That is rare.

Would have posted some pictures, but phone signal was bad.

Spent a good amount of time clearing trails of fallen trees when I was up a few weeks ago. Was able to scout, hang a few stands and put out a couple cams. Neighbor’s property was clear cut so I’m hoping that we benefit from it
