The four wheel powers that be just don't want ole Dimitri in the woods. Plain and simple. Donna called while weedeating. "I'm broke down!!". And she wasn't lying. Ate the living hell out of a wheel bearing on the Expie. Ole red S10 to the rescue! She didn't strain and she didn't sag. Bilstein shocks, 3.73 finals, and that small block at heart 4.3 got her home. Fighting to get done so I can still ride tomorrow.

No good buddy! Those little 4.3 are resilient little buggers. Got almost 300k on my 90 s-10 blazer.

Mine has 232k. Love that ZR2 PKG too!! (Except when it's time to buy parts lol).
Anyways, damage ain't too bad. New rotor/hub, bearings and tidbits. Can't believe she saved the spindle. That's nothing short of a miracle. I may ride after all lol.

I'm machining 4.3 heads for my dad now. Putting in screw in studs. A little head work, cam and aluminum intake. For a boat. Put a 4.3 in my Toyota truck when I was 16.

Looks like my roll in da woods may be back on. Got everything installed plus packed the driver's side too. Rides like a dream again. Now back to more important matters.

Yes! Exactly!! Those grooves in my rotors from mud need to be filled in with more mud so my pads have an even surface to apply pressure. It's science man. And you can't argue with science.

The trick is to sneak off this morning and not have 8 kids whining about wanting to go. I think I'll tell them I'm going to a homeless shelter to volunteer for room cleaning. That should stop them since none of them like that lol.

I can't believe how much I've missed those trails. I swear it was like a homecoming. Just like I remembered....bumper deep small mudholes, off camber everywhere, center cap destroying rock outcroppings. I love Coalmont due to its beauty, creeks, and endless miles but I really missed the technical trails bull run has. We have got to get some rigs together for a ride!!

Oh yeah, about those 300.00 a-arms.....love em love em love em!!!! Why didn't I do this sooner?? Had the mudbusters on and not once rubbed. Dropped off some good sized rocks too. Very happy with the state of my machine right now.

You got me confused with somebody else. My thing is getting over hard obstacles not speeding over obstacles. I tear up less that way (hopefully)
