Got sent home early from work due to weather so I thought I'd get some work done. It no, ram on my bender decided to take a crap. Guess I'll slip/slide to HF tomorrow to get another one. Should've gotten the extended warranty.
I did get windshield braces notched and tacked.

Just playing around with a scrap piece. Yay or nay??

I like it but I don't like the high point at the b-pillar. I think the roof line should be flat and sloped to the front or have a more pronounced curve from the top of the A-pillar to the rear of the roof

Ive talked myself out of that rear section. The front doesn't look very curved mainly cause it's so short. I did one tube from front to back but it twisted. It's very hard to keep tube straight while operating roller.

Haven't took one apart like this but did have a nitrous fill pump do the same thing. There was a valve that reversed the air when the piston bottomed out to push it the other way. It stuck and got out of time and blew air out the exhaust. Lubed it and slid it to the other side and still working after 5 years.

Ill take it apart and see if I can find something. Never fooled with one of these but have done air motors on diaphragm pumps. Ain't got time for that crap now so I'll just grab another one.

Looks good.
Follows the line of the door panel sloping up to the pillar, and I have always liked Brick City Fab's rear cage section they built which is similar to the temp you tacked up. To each his own, but I like the concept.

Marvel mystery oil is a great air tool oil as well. it helps free up stuck valves.

Thanks for those tips guys. My problems did start when temps took a nosedive. I have 2 1gal jugs of marvel mystery oil lol. I swear by that stuff for freeing stuck motors. I'll let it warm up then give it a try.
